The ice caps are melting and poor Hopper won't have any fun without the ice. Jump and move around on the ice platforms, but be careful they don't stay up for long. Spend your Fish Coins on upgrades to strengthen your efforts in staying above the water. Collect enough Fish Coins to make hopper's dream come true - his very own bucket hat! Keep your eye out for Hopper's favourite snack. Collected Ice Creams will boost that sweet score.
While this game about Hopper is funny, some things here on our planet are not. Our changing climate is making life harder for the world’s poorest people who are already struggling to get clean water. Globally, temperatures are rising which is not only melting the ice caps meaning that penguins like Hopper won't be able to survive and live normally but also the weather in other parts of the world is becoming more extreme and varied. Droughts, flooding, and tropical storms are all increasing as a result of climate change and making it harder for people to have access to a reliable supply of clean water.
That's why this Game jam is being run in partnership with WaterAid. WaterAid is the international not-for-profit organisation making clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere. Their mission is to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene.

Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you ^
-The concept and the message on the bio of the game are really good <3-The visual style of the game is simple but good :), you should chech the position of the shop on screen as it gets cut on the top as you can see on the video.
-The gameplay mechanics are interesting but the upgrades get blocked at some point and I don't know why.

The game has quite a few bugs that we should have fixed, but unfortunately we ran out of time. This game was made for a jam in 48h which is the reason for all the issues. If we could have even a few more days, I am sure none of these bugs would be present.
The shop got greyed out because you maxed out the upgrade. Due to running out of time I forgot to change the text to say maxed out.
Thank you again for making the video and giving us feedback about our game, it helps a lot. Hopefully next games will come out more polished and with fewer bugs :)
